Exam Rules

Exams are written for each topic that comprises the module. Exams comprise a range of multiple choice and “True or False” questions randomly drawn from a pool of questions relating to the specific topic. No two exams related to a particular topic are exactly the same. Exams are conducted on an open-book basis. There is a time constraint of one minute per question and an exam clock counts down from the start of the exam. A pass mark is required to be achieved in order to pass a module successfully. Exam results are displayed immediately after submitting an exam for marking. The learner may elect to forward his/her exam results to another email address.

Topics

An exam needs to be completed for each topic that comprises the module. The learner may attempt each topic’s exam only once. Only fully completed exams that are submitted for marking count as a valid examination attempt.

Pass Mark

The learner is required to achieve a pass mark of 70%. The pass mark is calculated based on the average mark achieved in all of the module’s topics’ exams. If the learner has not achieved this average, he/she is required to commence the study process again from the beginning of the module. In other words, he/she must restudy each topic and rewrite each topic’s exam again.

Examination Clock

If any time remains on the exam clock at the end of completing an exam, the learner is free to go back and review or change his/her answers.
