The 1st topic introduces the learner to the collective investment industry and a variety of concepts related to collective investment.

The 2nd topic summarises the legislation and bodies governing the unit trust industry.  Collective investment scheme structures and the classification of portfolios are outlined and a variety of packaged investment products introduced.

The 3rd topic deals with participatory interest and the calculation of net asset value.  Historic and forward pricing methodologies are differentiated and the distribution of fund income is outlined.  Finally, collective investment scheme portfolio performance is summarised
